Fiction, documentaire ou hybride, sans aucune restriction de genre ni de récit. &nbsp; &nbsp; Lorsque nous avons pensé ce projet en 2016, nous étions motivés par le désir de créer un événement novateur en donnant à des cinéastes en devenir l'opportunité de fabriquer un film au sein d’un espace collectif. Elle doit être constituée de 6 membres maximum, dont une personne pour le montage (obligatoire), technicien.nes et comédien.nes principaux compris. Les 3 tournages se déroulent en même temps et tous les résident.es vivent dans le même lieu situé à Sarlat-la-Canéda en Dordogne. Chaque film est coproduit par les cinéastes, Fumigènes Films et l’association de la résidence, en partenariat avec Ciné Passion en Périgord et la région Nouvelle-Aquitaine. &nbsp; &nbsp; Après 34 films produits en Savoie, la Résidence des 168 Heures migre dans le Sud-ouest. Pour sa 10ème édition dès 2025, elle s’installe dans les futurs studios de cinéma du site de la Communauté de Communes Sarlat Périgord Noir : France Tabac. Elle a l’intention de s’atteler à l’écriture de sa thèse sur Louis Mandrin, un célèbre contrebandier qui, au 18e siècle, a sévi dans la région. Mais quand Romane ouvre le chalet, elle découvre qu’il a été occupé par un inconnu,peu avant son arrivée. Poussée par son obsession pour les grands bandits, elle mène l’enquête. Celle-ci la conduit jusqu’à un jeune homme qui a toutes les caractéristiques du fugitif. Dans l’esprit de Romane, contrebandiers, criminels et squatteurs s’entremêlent.
